During my recent gourmet getaway at Hotel Sever, I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful balance between comfort and culinary excellence. Nestled just a short drive from the captivating landscapes of Marvão, the hotel's location was perfect-quiet, yet accessible to must-see sights. My room exuded a cozy charm, complemented by a peaceful ambiance, allowing for restful nights after days filled with exploration. The facilities, including accessible options for all guests, ensured a hassle-free stay. The true highlight, however, was the dining experience at Restaurante Sever. Showcasing regional cuisine, every bite was a celebration of local flavors. The complimentary buffet breakfast was particularly impressive, offering a diverse range of local products-definitely a plus for a food enthusiast like me. Unwinding at the bar with a refreshing drink after a long day felt effortless, while the lovely views of the River Sever made for tranquil evenings. Although it lacked extravagant luxury, the warmth of the staff and the essence of the dining experience made it a perfect spot for those exploring the beauty and flavor of this incredible region. I can't wait to return!
